| Argus is a "started" dog. He had 5 weeks of training at about 18 months of age. He needed to do some maturing so we brought him home and only occasionally took him to stock. At the end of March 2010, we took him to his breeder Linda Holloway to be evaluated. We trust Linda's instincts and experience knowing that she would be honest in here assessment of Argus. We also wanted Linda to put some additional training on Argus and then re-assess him for our needs. According to Linda, Argus is best suited to heavy stock (cattle or goats). For this reason we must sell Argus. We raise sheep and trial on sheep, so Argus will not fit our needs. At his current level of training Argus will make a suitable "farm" dog. Although his line is slow maturing, once they are fully matured, they make incredible working dogs. She is confident that Argus will follow in his sire's footsteps.
